The Central Susquehanna Soccer Club began in 1988 as the Danville-Millville Soccer Club with one U-19 boys team. The founders were Ira Gensemer and Rich Morris. The next year, the name was changed to Central Susquehanna Soccer Club or CSSC. CSSC is affiliated with EPYSA and hence with US Youth Soccer. As a non-profit organization, we are interested in providing male and female youth soccer players the opportunity to acquire the best soccer experiences possible. Our teams generally range in age from U-9 or 10 thru U-18. We currently place teams in various travel leagues throughout north central and south central Pennsylvania. Tournament and state cup play are encouraged. We are based in Danville Pa., but our teams include players from many local communities including Bloomsburg, Milton, Middleburg, Northumberland, Sunbury and Watsontown. The club is managed by a Board of Directors and is a member of the Danville Area Soccer Association, DASA. In the spring of 2006, CSSC participated in the dedication of the Danville Area Soccer Park. This 22 acre soccer park at the edge of Danville on East Market Street was created as a joint project of the Boro of Danville, DASA, PPL, and the US Soccer Foundation.
Click here to register your child for the CSSC 2010-11 Soccer Year. The process is very easy for both new and returning players. Payment can be made online via Master Card or Visa or mail-in check can be sent to the CSSC Treasurer. Select your player's team according to the age the team will be in the Fall of 2010.
